Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni, has approved the reduction in the official working hours for state’s workers in the month of Ramadan.
Newsbuka.com.ng, gathered that the time adjustment was conveyed through a letter signed by the state’s Acting Head of Service, Alhaji Hamidu M. and made available to newsmen in Damaturu, the Yobe State capital.
According to the letter, workers in the state will now resume work by 8:00 am and close for work by 3:00 pm, Monday to Thursday.
Also workers during the holy month are directed to work between 8:00 am and 12:00 noon on Fridays.
