In a bid to support Governor Alex Otti’s vision for a new Abia of great opportunities, the Nmeri Foundation International has announced a groundbreaking initiative.
The initiative which is powered by John ChinweNmeri, Abia Born Founder of Nmeri Foundation International, Philanthropist, Real Estate and Telecoms Infrastructure Entrepreneur Partners Technology Company, will train 1000 Abians in Aba, Obingwa, Umuahia and online.
The Free Training & Job Placement for 1000 Abia Youths is aimed at shaping the future of Abia, equip 1000 youths with in-demand skills, securing jobs and fostering entrepreneurship.
The opportunity will also expose youth to Tech and Entrepreneurship Empowerment Project while they will benefit from Free comprehensive training in tech and entrepreneurship, guarantee job placement upon completion, contribute to Abia’s economic growth and development, guarantee empowerment to become job creators and leaders.
According to a release by Nmeri Foundation International, Program Tracks include: Artificial Intelligence (AI)& Prompt Engineering, Software Development, Cybersecurity, Data Science & Analytics, Digital Marketing, Video Editing.

According to the release, interested Abians must be residents of Abia from 16 to 35 years, should be interested in IT and related fields as well as have basic computer knowledge while registration is free.
