The Super Eagles of Nigeria are set for their second encounter against the Bafana Bafana of South Africa as part of the ongoing 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
Newsbuka.com.ng, gathered that Williams, who manned the goalpost during the 2023 AFCON semi-final, and Mokoena, whose crucial penalty kick in the 90th minute extended the match to extra time, leading to a penalty shootout, are both facing doubts ahead the game.
South African media outlet reported that Broos disclosed that four of his players, including Williams and Mokoena, arrived in camp with minor injuries.
Despite the minor injuries, Broos has expressed confidence that these issues would not hinder the team’s preparations for the clash.
